JANE’S CAMPAIGN

One day Jane Fowler was driving home when a passenger in the car ahead of her threw a paper cup out of the window. Jane sounded the horn to give him a signal, but in response, he threw out something else – this time a plastic bag. At that point she decided to take action. 7.1. Jane also started chatting about the problem with the people living next door. Soon, she noticed local families picking up litter. 7.2. She talked to people in the street, in parks and in shopping centres. Over a few weeks she spoke to about one thousand people. She also contacted some local schools.
